Action packed week...

My Dad and brother Ryan took a week off and flew down, rented a car and drove out a week ago Sunday. We had lots of fun. I hadn't seen Ryan for three years! But I have had two babies and he was in the police academy, so we were very busy. Jackson had fun having someone to play with outside where he could ride his scooter, bike, and play catch with the football.

Instead of playing catch Garrett would help Grandpa retrieve the ball. For some reason he felt that he needed to where his helmet. I don't recall him riding his bike anytime before or after this picture was taken. Eventually, the rain let up and I had Grandpa and Uncle Ryan put the trampoline together from being down for the winter.

Garrett would not jump by himself so Uncle Ryan assisted him when it was his turn to jump.

Jackson on the other hand is doing summer saults.

Of course Ryan had to have a turn for himself too. I jumped a little bit with Ryan, but you won't see any pictures of that. So after a week of bike riding, playing catch, jumping on the trampoline, renting movies, and enjoying eathothers company we headed to Salt Lake so Ryan, Dad, and Jackson could go to the motorcycle races at the Larry H. Miller Desert Peak Complex. Shawn's mom and grandmother were so kind to let us stay with them. The race track is only ten minutes from her home. While they were at the races, Garrett and Hannah Lu played with Nani and Nanalyn. I was also able to run some errands. There is always something that we have to do in Salt Lake that we can't do at home in Vernal. The pictures below are ones that Ryan took at the races.

One of Jackson's favorite things are dirt bikes

Jackson with Uncle Ryan

Jackson with Grandpa

Jackson's other favorite thing, a bullet bike. Which he can continue dreaming about having.

Who knew they could do tricks on a bullet bike!

They said that the race track was huge. They could not see the whole thing. When they got home that evening I am sure Grandpa and Uncle Ryan felt like they didn't leave because all we heard for the next hour or so was "rrrrrrrrrrrrrr"
"rrrrrrrrrrrrr"
"rrrrrrrrrrr" from Jackson.
Thanks Dad and Ryan for coming and taking Jackson with you. He will always remember it. Thanks Marie and Marilyn for letting us crash at your house, and letting Dad and Ryan using your car. Love you all!
