Happy Anniversary 9 years...

It is hard to believe that this picture was taken almost 14 years ago. Shawn and I met through the personal ads in the paper. Now it is all done through cyber space. I made him meet me at the Albertsons down the street from where I was living, because I didn't want him to know where I lived. We hit it off and have been together ever since.

We were married in the Seattle Temple May 19,2000. I waited 5 years for Shawn. It was worth the wait. He is a good husband, and father to our three beautiful children, Jackson, Garrett, and Hannah Lu. Who are also miracles. He also works very hard to support our family, working seven days a week with four jobs. Yet he stills manages to find time to spend with us. Through our years we have definately had our ups and downs, tears and laughter. We have grown so much together. He is my best friend.
Unfortunately, we spent our anniversary driving to and from Salt Lake for a couple of doctor appointments for Hannah Lu. We recieved good news and bad news today. Hannah Lu past her swallow study, so we can slowly start bottle feeding her. Maybe we will have the G tube out by the end of the year. The bad news is that we found out that our 3 month old daughter needs glasses. I am soooooo not impressed with the glasses they make for infants. Her opthamologist is also worried about retinal detatchment. So she will be watched closely for that. I had a good cry on the way home, and after I was done Shawn said happy anniversary. We just laughed, and then remembered that everything will be ok. Look at what we have been blessed with already. So happy anniverary schoooooo. I love you! Jackson our miniature Shawn

Garrett our little firecracker (of the mouth) in a good way

Hannah Lu our little tough girl, she has endured so much already. I can't wait until she can go after her brothers

My little soccer champ

This is Jackson's soccer picture this year. He is loving it. He gets up every Saturday and gets dressed in his uniform, shinguards and everything, even though his game may not start for several more hours. He also has scored two goals. Jackson is going to be busy this summer. This is a good thing. T-ball starts right after soccer ends, and he will have swimming lessons two nights a week, and going to connections (a summer program for elementary students) four days a week for four hours. This all starts the first week of June. Wow I guess I will be busy too.

4th surgery, 12 weeks, one child.....

We went back to Salt Lake last Thursday because Hannah Lu had yet another surgery. Her doctor decided that it was time to put tubes in her ears. She has had lots of fluid in her ears since she was born, and one ear infection. So in order to start the hearing aid process, they need to drain the fluid so she can have another hearing test. The doctor said that she should be able to hear even better once the fluid is drained. I have already noticed a difference. The only bad thing is that she is not sleeping through the boys rough housing around the house anymore. Now I am constantly reminding them to be quiet because their sister is sleeping. Anyways, we stayed at the Red Lion in downtown Salt Lake Thursday night. They had a pool so I took the boys swimming. We had fun. Then we went and ate at Cafe Rio, Yummy, my favorite. I am so excited because they are building one here in Vernal. Well this was Hannah's last surgery until she is 12 months. Then they will fix her cleft pallete.
Garrett, not so fond of the water, I was able to convince him to sit on the top stair.

Mothers Day

We went to Shawns mom's house for mothers day. She and Nanalyn(Shawn's grandmother) made a really good dinner. We were missing Shawn because he had to work, but we had fun. Later on that night, I had not seen Garrett for awhile. So my sister in-law went outside to look and I was looking around the house. I noticed that the door to that leads to the bedrooms was closed so I went in and discovered that another door was closed. I went in and found Garrett emptying a buckett of wipes which belonged to Shawn's mom. I don't know what it is about Garrett and cleaning. I had to get a picture of him. Normally he would have been in trouble. So of course everyone there had to peek in on him and see what he had done. It was pretty funny.
caught red handed

maybe I should not have taken a picture, because obviously he thinks its funny now

RSV/PNUEMONIA

I took Hannah Lu to the doctor this moring because she has started snoring every night the past 4-5 days. So he did a chest x-ray and some blood work and tested for RSV. It all came back positive. The chest x-ray showed a cloud in her lung, the blood work showed that her white blood cell count was low and the RSV test was positive. Her saturation was at 88, and they like it to be at least 90 or higher. So lucky me, the medical supply company that we have been dealing with for all of her other stuff delivered a moniter. I will take her back to the doctor tomorrow morning and he will decide if he wants to admit her to the hospital. If she is admitted she will be going back to Primary Children's. So Teresa we might be back! Apparently this is going to get worse before it gets better. Shawn is in Arizona for some law enforcement training, so I am home alone with two boys and one sick little girl. We almost went to Arizona with him. Thank goodness we didn't. Nothing worse than being in a hospital where there is no family and no friends.
sleeping through the annoying beeping of the moniter

this is the moniter that was delivered to my house to watch her oxygen level and heart rate. It is really annoying

nothing like having a hopital set up in my house

Too cute!

Ok, I got her dressed for church today and thought, she looks so cute so I had to get some pictures of her. Yah, yah, yah, she has a bow on her head. I promised my mother I would never put one on her. Never liked them myself actually, until my visiting teacher made a couple of them for me, and I think it looks cute. So there she is already for church.
